My daughter & I made a few apple cinnamon ornaments and boy, does our house smell good!
The recipe is easy peasy!
Add equal parts applesauce & cinnamon, mix until a dough forms.
Roll out your dough and use your cookie cutters to create fun Christmas shapes.
Use a straw to poke a hole in your ornament for the ribbon.
Air dry on a drying/cooling rack! If you're letting yours dry on a flat surface, be sure to flip them over so they dry evenly.
We left ours sit by our woodstove and they were dry in a few hours...and the house smelled yummy!
These will not only be wonderful as ornaments but also as tags on a few packages!
I'll leave some setting on the table by the door to hand out when friends drop by too. share the love!
...and did I mention how good they smell?! I'm lovin' it!
